From school boards and city councils to all elected County officials, the Dallas County Democrats work year-round to elect Democrats during every election cycle. Our goal is to support candidates running for office in different ways - from financial support, to aligning volunteers to campaigns, and more.

Dallas County was labeled the fastest growing county in Iowa over the last decade, and the Dallas County Democrats work year-round to increase voter participation through voter registration and promoting absentee and in-person voting.

Democrats are focused on solving issues. From healthcare to education, labor to climate. Our Dallas County Democratic Party is focused on bridging rural Iowa to urban Iowa, and Dallas County is at the center of this equation. Issues important to our county and Democratic Party:

• Increasing and expanding access to affordable healthcare by promoting the Affordable Care Act (ACA) passed under President Obama and expanded under President Biden.
