(West Des Moines, IA) “Textbank Weekend of Action w/the West Des Moines Democrats!” (Volunteers needed for GOTV texting campaign today!)

Event Description: We need your help! This weekend we’ll be texting all registered Democrats in our district who have not yet voted with a special focus on those who requested an absentee ballot. If we can get more Democrats to the polls, we can elect more people who are on the side of working families and common sense values. But it will be close.

So please join us! We’ll supply snacks and the short paragraph to text each voter. It’s a quick copy and paste!

We especially need to ensure more votes for Lanon Baccam (US Congress, IA District-03),  Senator Sarah Trone-Garriott (IA SD-14) and Laura Snider (IA HD-28).

Date: Saturday, October 26, 2024 (Lunch provided.)

Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Location: Kay Mackey’s condo clubhouse, 1100 50th Street, West Des Moines, IA 50266 (Look for the Harris and Baccam yard signs)
